Cedarville University Student Handbook 2019-2020
“Honesty – One of the marks of integrity is honesty. Students are expected to be honest and truthful in all forms of communication (verbal or written). Forgery, providing incomplete or misleading information, scanning and not attending chapel, or misuse of your student ID card are examples of dishonesty that will result in discipline.”

“Other than in the residence halls, shirts should be worn everywhere on campus, including the Callan Athletic Center.”

It would be interesting to know what type of disciplinary measures Dr. Thomas White imposed on these young, handsome, athletic, shirtless rule-breakers who appear to be working out at the Recreation Center on the Cedarville Campus? Perhaps White attempted to restore all of them to the faith as they continued their studies and that is when he realized one should only attempt a few restoration cases at a time. Or maybe there is an unwritten exception to the Student Code of Conduct to the effect that shirts are not required when cheering on the President to obtain a personal record in the bench press.
“I also recognize that one institution can only attempt a few such restoration cases at a time.”
